I have refined the look. I am trying different typefaces and combinations to see which one speaks the loudest. I still haven't chosen the "real" colors, but they will be red and orange.
I love the flower icon and the color palette. Beautifully simple and still whimsical. I like # 2 and what I think is #6 (it has the horizontal line). While I dig the funky font on the others, I fear it might be difficult to read if you ever need to use it for signage. I really like the horizontal line feature. It makes a block logo still feel long and lean. Just my two-cents.
i like them all! the 3rd one in the first column - with the horizontal line stood out the most on my first viewing. i also like the one directly above it. but, again, i like them all.
@Lara Thanks for the input. It's such a struggle to create your own identity. There are so many "things" to say about yourself. I imagine you know that though! Thank you. I'm a fan of your work and Ink & Spindle.

May I vote? :) #s 2 & 4 in the first column jump out at me... playful and spunky and less structured...

top left gets my vote. it's the simplest, but I reckon it'll stay classy the longest :)
